The Scales group maintains an Open Laboratory. This means that we do no proprietary or classified research. In particular:

• We do not produce proprietary deliverables. The results of our research are available to all, no matter what the source of funding.
• We do not sign non-disclosure agreements. If you have information or data that you do not want disclosed, then do not share them with us.
• We do not accept restrictions on reports/papers (including prior approval or holding periods), software or data produced in the lab.
• If you want any of our data, just ask, we'll give them to you.
• We do not patent our results.
